Meet the board
H.E. Ambassador Ann Derwin
Irish Ambassador to the Netherlands
Dr. Ann Derwin is the Irish Ambassador to the Netherlands since September 2024 and is the Patron of INBA. She previously served as the Ambassador of Ireland to China and Mongolia from January 2021 until August 2024. Before joining the Department of Foreign Affairs in 2017, Ambassador Derwin was the first woman to serve on the management board of the Department of Agriculture and is a passionate advocate for the need to enhance gender equality and the role of women in business and entrepreneurship.
Laura Crowley
Chair, Market Manager Bord Bia, The Netherlands
Laura Crowley is Manager of the Dutch market for Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board. Born in Cork and raised in Dublin, she has been living in the Netherlands since 2003. Laura holds a Masters in International Marketing from UCD Smurfit Business School, as well as archaeology-related degrees from University College Dublin and Leiden University.
KIERAN HOULIHAN
Ex-officio Board Member, Embassy of Ireland to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Kieran Houlihan is Deputy Head of Mission with responsibility for the Economic & Trade Portfolio. Prior to joining the Department of Foreign Affairs, he held a number of policy and change management roles in the Higher Education sector in Ireland, including broadening access and diversity. Kieran holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Limerick, as well as Professional Certificates in Corporate Governance and Economics for Diplomacy from the National University of Ireland.
Tomás O'Connell
Treasurer, Associate Director renewables and transport, project finance - Rabobank
Tomás is from Kerry and has been living in the Netherlands since 2019. With a background in physics and economics, he has spent his career working in the renewables and infrastructure finance sector, and is currently working in the renewables project finance team at Rabobank. He previously worked for BlackRock in Dublin and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London.
Ivo Neuvel
BOARD MEMBER, MANAGER STAFFING SOLUTIONS - EQUANS OFFSHORE SERVICES
Ivo is Manager Staffing Solutions at Equans Offshore Services, a technical services company that has the ambitions to have an important role in the (offshore) energy transition. Ivo has an extensive experience in technical recruitment and managing teams and holds a Bachelor's in Human Resources from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam and a Master of Science in Management from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
JP McAllister
Board Member, founding partner
of GrowEurBusiness
JP McAllister is a founding partner of GrowEurBusiness, a business consultancy based in Amsterdam helping businesses move and expand to the Netherlands and EU. Originally from Waterford, JP has lived 30 years in the Netherlands, much of that period working internationally in various business development and finance director roles. JP is married to Ingrid, a Dutch national, and they have two sons, Tom and Finn.
Ben Morgan
Board member, Head of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
Ben Morgan is Head of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) for the BeNeLux & Nordic regions, with responsibility for its regional strategic management. He previously worked for international real estate firm, Savills, specialising in commercial investments. Ben has lived with his Dutch partner in the Netherlands since 2018, holds economics and real estate degrees and is a Chartered Surveyor. Ben’s interests include sports, music, travel, and business.
Sinéad Sheridan
Board member, Procurement Director, Cloetta
Sinéad has been living in the Netherlands for 11 years and is originally from Dundalk. With a background in food science and business she spent most of her career in procurement at KraftHeinz before joining Cloetta in 2022 to lead their procurement function. She is a passionate foodie and a champion of Diversity & Inclusion.
Tonia Spollen
Director Benelux Region Enterprise Ireland
Tonia recently took up the Benelux role having managed Enterprise Ireland’s Warsaw office for the last five years. Prior to that she was based in Enterprise Ireland’s HQ managing relations with the International Financial Institutions. She has a Masters in European Studies from University College Dublin and speaks German, French and Spanish.
Ómaí Ransome
Administrative Assistant
Since September 2023, Ómaí has been INBA’s part-time administrative assistant - so if you have received an email from us, there’s a good chance she was behind the keyboard. Originally from Cork and Waterford, Ómaí is now based in Amsterdam. She holds a BA in Politics and Philosophy and completed her MA in Cultural Data and AI at the University of Amsterdam in 2025.
