The INBA year got off to a good start on February 6^th when we held our AGM and Networking drinks reception in the Embassy Residence, kindly hosted by our Patron, Ambassador Kelly.  INBA now has 51 corporate and individual members, well up on last year, and we had a record attendance with 27 members represented at the AGM and further 4 joining us for the drinks reception. It was particularly pleasing was to see most of our large corporate members represented. This is a good turnout for an early evening in February.

We had two changes on our Board. Hildagarde McCarville has been elected Vice Chairperson and I look forward to sharing the responsibility with her in the coming year. Helen Finn has replaced Eric Vermuelen as Treasurer. Eric has been promoted to additional responsibilities in AKD which will involve international travel. He had served as Board member and Treasurer for 17 years.

We made a formal presentation to Eithne Jones, who has resigned from the Board due to work pressure, and thanked her for her massive contribution to the work and development of INBA over many years.  Read a review of the AGM in the article by INBA member Andrew Hickson.
